After less than two weeks of practice, five local Super Groups, who have never played together before, will dazzle you. And, as if Rock Lottery isn't hard enough, as is, we always throw in an extra twist. This year, each band must perform a song that incorporates a style/artist combination that couldn't be more opposite (also selected by random drawing).

Why do they sign up for this? It sure isn't for the crappy prizes, but it is fun.

So, without further ado, this year's Super Groups* are:

DETROIT '77
Four Jacks and a Jill
Grampa's Boner
Punk Side of the Moon
Scary Music Factory

*The Super Groups are listed in alphabetical order, not necessarily the order in which they will play. That will also be selected, by lot, the night of the show.
