FILMMAKERS, ACTORS and IDEATS... ARE YOU UP FOR A CHALLENGE?

So... You've got a camera, and your neighbor has Final Cut Pro / iMovie.
And you know you can round up a bunch of your friends for the weekend.
What more do you need?

You're ready for the 48 Hour Gorilla-Ideat Film Project!

Back by popular demand... Ideat Village presents the ultimate Ideat film-making challenge.
Making a film isn't so hard, but here's the catch -- you've got to do it all (and we mean all) in just 48 hours!

To make things interesting, and to keep everyone honest, there's a random drawing prior to the competition.

DRAWING: 9:00 PM at the IDEAT VILLAGE  SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
FRIDAY JUNE 29TH at ORBIT Gallery

Each film team must select, in addition to their actors and crew:

a genre;
a character;
a prop; and
a line of dialogue.

ALL of your random selections MUST appear in your film.

Open call for ALL ACTORS who would like to take part.

Come to the drawing at the SHORT FILM FESTIVAL (Orbit Gallery, June 29th).
Meet the filmmakers, and you just might find yourself cast in a leading role!
Just show up if you want to get involved in the race-against-the-clock madness
of GORILLA-iDEAT 48-hour filmmaking.

NOTE:  If you can't be there for selection of the filmmaking team, but want to participate,
send us a photo / headshot, and any other info, and we'll put you in the pool of actors... Simple!

Click  here to see the videos produced last year, in just 48 hours
by the three teams that did not crash and burn in the process.
Hats off to the teams that accomplished this seemingly impossible task!
